What to expect…

Donna does two forms of Treatments, hands-on treatments and treatments done over a distance.  With hands-on treatments, you lay fully-clothed on a bodywork table.  Donna will ask what you would like to focus on.  She will scan to determine the flow of energy into your 7 major energy centers (chakras) and also over some of your minor chakras.  She will lay hands on different positions of your body, such as your head, below your ribs, your heart, knees and feet.  Positions treated will vary depending on what will be most helpful to you.  If preferred, Donna will work in your energy fields (aura) above your body.

The other form of treatment is an absent or distant treatment.  While you are relaxing in your home, Donna can treat you from hers.  Reiki knows no boundaries. You could be on the other side of the world, from your practitioner, while enjoying the flow of this healing energy.  During the time of your scheduled distant treatment, you are asked to relax and be in a resting quiet state, as you would be if treated hands-on.

Whole body treatments generally take one hour, though as you begin treatments it can take longer.  You will be able to choose what length of time you would like, and if you wish to continue, if the treatment requires more time.  We are all different in what we need.

During the treatment, you may experience warmth, tingling, a noisy tummy or none of the above.  This is completely normal.  Your cells are calling for as much energy as they need and as this energy flows, these things may or may not occur.

After your treatment, you will feel peaceful.  Allow yourself to quietly and slowly return to activity.  Let the treatment settle in and drink plenty of water.

Should you have questions before or after your treatment, please do not hesitate to call.
